Job Purpose
Responsible for performing and reviewing financial analysis to support the M&A / New Investments team in preliminary screening and evaluating potential investment opportunities and targets for SALIC. Furthermore, the role holder is responsible for performing studies, analysing market trends, conducting internal due diligences, coordinating external due diligences and supporting deal structuring.
Financial Analysis
- Perform and review valuation analysis on a wide range of target investment opportunities using relevant theoretical models and methodologies.
- Gather financial and non-financial data pertinent to the valuation; work with various groups (partners, regulatory authorities and industry trade groups) to get necessary information
- Review analysis, comparisons, estimates and forecasts related to key financial matters like revenue, cash flow, productivity, ROI, profit, etc. based on the research on industry standards, benchmarks and trends for performance measurement.
- Prepare and deploy financial models to justify recommendations on project’s viability and present a comprehensive cost benefit analysis
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Investment Management or any related field.
- Professional certification is preferred i.e. Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Certification (level 1), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) Certification.
Work Experience
- 6 – 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.
