Part-time Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant

  • Salary: 50 AED per hour (increasing after 3 months)

We are an exciting new start-up looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper and admin assistant. We are looking for a seasoned professional and are happy to provide flexible working hours and times to this individual.


Our ideal candidate will have executive experience and good knowledge of financial functions within an organisation. We also want someone willing to support the co-founders with day-to-day admin tasks as well (document submissions, filtering cvs etc).


Someone who can communicate things concisely and has the ability to seek out answers independently is very important to us. This person needs to be well organised and thorough plus must have good computer literacy.


Bookkeeping tasks:

  • Posting financial data into accounting software (Waves Accounting)
  • Producing simple weekly cash flow, PnL and balance sheet summaries
  • Producing and updating burndown chart
  • Producing “what if” scenarios on request


Admin tasks:

  • Assiting with communication with key partners
  • Updating HR systems with personnel data
  • Distributing contractual agreements to third parties and follow-ups
  • Developing a digital repository of key documents


Essential Requirements:

  • Good spoken and written English (first language if possible)
  • Good excel skills
  • Preferred experience in using Waves accounting software
  • Previous start-up linked experience an advantage
  • Years of experience: 7+ years combined experience across a combination of finance, admin, hr etc.
