Project Coordinator (Female)

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate capacity building initiatives of PCWR-FF on project management and social and cultural cohesion and assist Project Manager in effective implementation of the project.
  • Provide technical support to Project Manager in project planning, implementation, quality assurance, budget management, monitoring, reporting etc.
  • Lead fund raising initiatives with support of Project Manager to secure funding from various funding agencies.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of projects through regular follow-up on project implementation plans

2. MAIN TASKS

  • Assist Project Manager in development and implementation of social cohesion project
  • Strengthen networking and coordination with relevant local structures (e.g. CSOs, I/NGOs and Government Departments, Media, Faith leaders, local faith communities etc.)
  • Contribute in fundraising through preparation of quality applications/proposals, reports for submission to international funding partners.
  • Contribute in identification of areas and strategies for needed modifications in existing project plans to improve project performance.
  • Contribute in documenting best practices, results and lessons learnt from the project interventions

3. Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Masters’ degree preferably in social sciences
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferably in community cohesion, human rights, democratic governance or other related fields)
  • Good understanding of local context, culture, vulnerable groups, and underlying socio-politico-economic situation
  • Relevant experience in developing project proposals, budget and reports
  • Good knowledge and understanding of different religions and local faith communities
  • Preferable knowledge/understanding and experience of advocacy campaign on social issues

5. Field Travel:

  • Pesahwar based job with occassional travel to the field areas (Chitral & Islamabad)
