The Role

As a UI Designer at Adphorus a Sojern company, you will help own, define, and deliver the design language used across all of our internal and external interfaces. Your work will drive the overall experience all of our users have with the Sojern Traveler Platform, be they our hundreds of internal users who are responsible for driving Sojern’s success or our thousands of external customers who rely on Sojern to bring their brands to life. The interfaces you contribute to will define the future aesthetic of Sojern and the full spectrum of critical touch points our customers encounter throughout their journey with our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to all phases of our product development cycle (analysis, ideation, design, implementation, user testing).
• Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and other cross-functional team members from around the globe to define and implement creative solutions.
• Reviewing UX design assets, gathering and analyzing requirements, and making architectural and design recommendations.
• Tracking front-end development progress in order to make sure your designs have been implemented appropriately.
• Working directly with the QA team to review design implementation to make sure requirements are properly met.
• Cultivating a deep understanding of the Sojern and Adphorus UI styles, patterns, and standardized elements and interactions.
• Creating and maintaining a cohesive style guide and ensuring that a consistent design language is applied across the platform.

• You embrace an iterative (agile) design and development approach in your role.

We’d Like You To Have

• 3+ years experience as a product or UI designer
• Expertise in Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision Studio, etc.
• Knowledge and interest of the latest design trends in web applications
• Passion for design and technology
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of interaction design, user-centered design, as well as a working knowledge of user experience design principles and techniques
