Epson are seeking a driven and proactive Account Manager (Business Imaging/Visual Instruments) to develop and implement the business sales plan for designated customers/partners to generate growth and maximise sales of Epson’s Business Imaging solutions.

You will develop and sustain end user customer relationships within Government Accounts and the Corporate sector, understand the addressable market dynamics, opportunity and potential to develop new sales opportunities within the Western region and remote cities.

Reporting into the Business Sales Manager, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and will possess previous experience in this product vertical.


Key Responsibilities:


• Build a sales pipeline and quarterly goals to ensure strong funnel of near, medium and long-term opportunities for new business across the Middle East. Identify, nurture and close new opportunities that result in substantial growth in the company market share, revenues, and margin

• Manage a balanced pipeline representing the strategic priorities of Epson and the wider company portfolio of products and services

• Build account plans and strategies to leverage on existing and run-rate business, to seed and grow new opportunities whilst maintaining the existing customer base

• Sell the full range of Epson products and services, maximising cross selling opportunities

• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

• Build strong professional working relationships with end users in the target market sectors, demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Epson’s capabilities to meet customer needs and priorities

• Understand and document the customer's requirements to ensure that clear unambiguous value propositions are developed and communicated using appropriate tools

• Actively engage to influence end users and partners early in the sales cycle to ensure that the profile of Epson is high and of priority, to fully leverage the company's portfolio and maximise win rates of deals

• Proactively engage with channel partners to define and pursue joint growth opportunities within the market

• Lead the sales process whilst calling upon and working with other internal resources and expertise to assist in solution development, proposal delivery and implementation (e.g Pre-Sales)

• Ensure compliance with standard processes using appropriate sales tools to ensure a quality and visible pipeline and accurate and timely forecasts

Key Skills & Experience: 


• Strong expertise in business development and experience working in a sales environment with a proven record of achieving success through the development of new profitable sales

• Technical expertise in Business Imaging & Visual Imaging or similar discipline and able to communicate the value and technical benefits of products to end users and channel partners

• Strong consultative, solution selling and business development skills and used to operating in a solutions driven environment

• Strong sales negotiation capability in positioning solution value under pricing pressures from customers/procurement professionals. Ability to develop a business case with the end user customer which articulates the business benefits of the solution

• Ability to build and proactively manage relationships over short and long term to generate business growth

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences

• Commercially aware and numerate with the ability to understand and manage priorities and risk in commercial terms

• Self-motivated with good analytical and problem-solving skills, both at tactical and strategic account level

• Track record of using sales productivity tools such as a CRM forecasting and pipeline reporting tool
