Job Purpose:  

This position is very critical to help business with commercial decision-making for pricing evaluations, business case development, BTL frameworks and product analysis through data visualizations/MSTR Reports/dashboards. Self-Service BI will also be enriched/customized to allow business extract data analysis directly from BI systems. BIG data enablement and its reporting are also key dependencies from this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Microstrategy (MSTR) reporting access layer and schema modelling. Self-Service BI requires to be enriched/customized to enable business team accessing data directly in most efficient manner through MSTR.
• Design and develop Microstrategy reports and dashboards: in order to support with complex business data analysis, customized MSTR reports /dashboards will need to be build for various commercial projects.
• Strong business communication: The core of this role is to interact with the commercial teams to understand their business questions /challenges and deliver the required insights or data accurately while defining solid parameters and associated business rules.
• Design and develop Microstrategy visual analytics and mobile dashboards: to facilitate business analytics initiatives for variety of projects, mobile dashboards and visual analytics will need to be extended to carry out commercial trend analysis
• Microstrategy Administration and Narrowcast development: These involve number of admin tasks including MSTR user creation, access management, application level tuning, log deciphering, reports/dashboard automation etc.
• Design Adhoc business reports using optimized Teradata SQL and perform data reconciliations/verification: The data analysis requests may be for variety of reasons such as pricing evaluation, product assessment, customer profiling, revenue/subscriber decline etc. The business reports will be generated from all available sources of the Data warehouse, after conducting possible checks.

• Bachelor degree in engineering/data/computer sciences
• Preferably Microstrategy Certified

Required Experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant BI experience
