Role Summary

It will be a full time employment and the resource will work as a core player for Contract, Biddings and institutional business. The position/person will ensure end-to-end life cycle of his/her area all over Pakistan.

This role will handle both side of businesses:
  • Contract Business for private institutes
  • Tender Business for Govt. Institutions

Monitors the process/trends and work to improve them as per Pfizer Guidelines and be able to conduct financial reconciliations related to his area. The resource will be responsible for complete collaboration and stakeholder management with following division.

Scope of work: All over Pakistan

Team Manager: This role will manage one dedicated contractual resource and one shared resource.

Role Responsibilities

In order of importance, indicate the primary responsibilities critical to the performance of the role. It is recommended not to list actual tasks but focus on 5-8 essential responsibilities that highlight accountability and level of judgment required.
  • Single handedly preparation of BID for Tender and Contract Business all over Pakistan
  • Ensure the completion of tenders with all the requirements.
  • Preparation and life cycle management of special quotation
  • To ensure that information on the purchases by institutions are constantly monitored and all tender and purchases requirements are received in time for the management to consider participating.
  • To ensure all tenders/ quotations are completed and submitted in time and proper follow up is maintained.
  • Responsible for liaison between the institutional distributors and head office
  • Maintain the record of CDRs / security deposits and responsible for recovery from intuitions on completion of supplies
  • To ensure the company’s rules and regulations including business conduct policies, Pfizer values are understood clearly and strictly followed in true spirit.
  • Preparation of Tender documents which include
  • Prequalification form
  • CDR Request form
  • Bank Performance Guarantee
  • Sharing list of requirements of tender with relevant stakeholders
  • Following up with all stakeholders in finalizing tender documents and submission
  • Preparation of distributor net price (DNR) from and coordinating for obtaining approval forms from Commercial Lead /FD
  • Obtaining schedules of CDR from finance each month, sending emails to relevant DFM’s / Distributors for follow up for recovery of overdue CDR’s, summarizing the progress of recovery of CDR’s to Commercial Lead /FD
  • Responsible for reconciliation with distributors and settlement of claims
  • Manages customer proposal requests and coordinate company bids, create resolution and develop strategy while complying with company requirements in order to achieve their ultimate goal of securing winning bids
  • Review of information about demands and derivation of supply and collate the feedback
  • To collaborate with field collection team across country and collate the feedback
  • He/She will be the colleague to find out the reason of delay in legal matters, queries with concerned manager and suggest resolutions for the same in consultation with Commercial Lead / FD
  • Must publish the result / outcome or performance review of the team recovery
  • Identify special assignments with the help of commercial lead and identify areas for simplification of process in an efficient manner.
  • Can coach para-professionals in department.
  • Can train contractual for future permanent roles
  • Be able to collaborate with leadership line

Qualifications

Graduation is must and Master’s will be given preference.

Work Experience

02 – 03 years Pharma experience in relevant area

Distributors, Tender & Contract Business stakeholders etc.
