About The Department

FLIT comprises of finance, logistics, IT and Procurement functions and is responsible for the overall partnering to the organisation by providing support through these functions. FLIT vision is to improve the lives of people with diabetes through timely supply to the patients and to ensure that Novo Nordisk’s activities are undertaken in an ethical and financially compliant way Novo Nordisk’s. You will be part of the FLIT department in Karachi, reporting to the Head of FLIT.

The position
In this position you will establish and maintain the procurement network in the country, as well as support effective sourcing services and supplier contract management on competitive terms for Novo Nordisk. You will contribute to the “Finance Vision” of being the best finance operation in the global pharma industry by identifying and executing cost reduction initiatives, optimizing customer satisfaction for line of business and affiliates, contributing to the department and team spirit and development of colleagues in Pakistan.

You will ensure highest quality, optimum cost and on time delivery in accordance with the corporate procedures .to ensure the acquisition of high quality goods/services at the best possible prices by negotiating and monitoring contract with selected suppliers throughout Pakistan. You will be responsible to drive and administer all activities related to meetings and events which is except the launch and cycle meetings.

You will be esponsible to make contracts with vendors or check existing frame contract & confidentiality agreements as per to deadlines. To execute and follows up the issues related to invoice and payments as per to the contracts. To ensures the Usage of eprocure and SAP systems as per to the Procurement ordering and SOP process. To finalizes the approvals and ensure the PO order forms to be sent to vendors in a timely manner

You will be responsible to ensures the Archieving of each documentation is in place with the related SOP, guideline and procedures in the shared folders for auditing processes

Qualifications

In order to be successful in the role as Sourcing Business Partner, you will need a Master's degree in Supply chain or similar qualification.

You have a minimum of 5-6 years of working experience within procurement or supply chain.

For this role it is essential for you to be an ambitious and proactive self-starter. You possess strong strategic and analytic skills that ensure constant development of the Pakistan Procurement. Your strength in cross functional stakeholder management skills allow you to influence through behaviour, build relationships and trust as well as obtain commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You have the willingness and courage to influence and challenge senior management thinking on key procurement issues.

You are driven by achieving the best possible results while acting in a responsible and ethical way. English proficiency is required.
