Our Client, a prestigious government entity in Abu Dhabi is currently looking to hire an Economic Modeler/ Economist in their team.

  

   

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare, edit and finalize periodic economic reports on macroeconomic developments and policies as well as sectoral issues such as fiscal, monetary, inflation, consumer and corporate sectors, real estate, among others.
• Develop and design statistical databases and technical models on key financial and economic indicators that would support the analytical work and improve the quality of the publications.
• Prepare special reports on a need basis and report any new and emerging issues that are of relevance.
• Participate actively in the research agenda by working on short-term research policy notes and more substantive research papers.
• Initiate research ideas that are of interest to the entity and submits them to the Senior Management.

Key requirements:

• Ability to prepare and draft solid reports and statistical databases
• Ability to do economic modeling with a range of economic models and modelling software packages
• Ability to conduct data analytics and develop comprehensive economic models
• Experience in using analytical and forecasting softwares
• Quantitative Analysis experience
• University Degree in Economics or Business
• English and Arabic language proficiency IS A MUST
• PC Skills including developing & managing databases
