Financial Controller

Adyen is looking for a Financial Controller to grow the Group Finance team. The ideal candidate enjoys to deep dive into complex accounting flows without losing oversight of the total picture. A good understanding of accounting will get you off to a great start in this role, in combination with an open mind and willingness to take on new projects, success is almost guaranteed.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse accounting flows within our Payments Platform and making sure these are reported correctly;
• Work closely together with the (Business) Controllers and Operational Finance team in explaining deviances and movement in cost and revenue flows;
• Be open for any new projects that will arise in the group finance team of a rapidly growing company.

Who You Are

• You have 1-3 years of experience in financial controlling;
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills;
• Independent, initiative, innovative and detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture;
• You are pro-active in the projects you take on, able to work independently but never afraid to ask people for help;
• Able to think 2 steps ahead, making sure that implanted solutions are scalable for Adyen’s rapid growth.
