• Decision making for IT Strategy and roadmap for the group.

 

To provide vision and direction to achieve strategic technology and business objectives and restructuring of the IT setup's to align them with business objectives. 

To closely work with various Internal & External stakeholders to lead and manage the IT activities and related services across offices based in KSA and outside KSA to ensure high availability of infrastructure facilitating smooth running of the business.

This key role reports into the Group CEO with stakeholders across the company in Travel Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, OTA, Supplier Strategy, and Finance.  

 

What You’ll Do:

• Play a key role in the organization, work closely with the Management Team and with other colleagues to add value to all areas of technology, business and commercial discussions.
• Develop and enhance company's OTA website to increase site traffic and make it one of the best in the region.
• Own technological investments within the company's OTA business.
• Work closely with prospects and clients to identify technology, feature and functionality requirements.
• Map technology capabilities to strategic priorities and serve as the sponsor for procurement solution and process innovation.
• Build a network of people, technologies, and ideas, constantly scan the technology landscape to identify possible partners that can provide complementary capabilities to help drive growth.
• Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, and competitive matters
• Operate under moderate supervision with frequent reviews of work
• Define & Own the IT security Policy.
• Compilation of the country wide IT Capital Expenditure budget. Create and budget the IT plan at the start of the year.
• Ensure company wide software licenses compliance.
• Streamline the communications systems by providing alternatives and reporting capabilities to the existing systems.
• Direct the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans
• Ensure delivery of BI data on time and with zero errors

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Relevant (IT) Experience
• Preferably Master’s degree in related fields (Business Engineering or Technology)
• OTA or TMC Experience highly preferrable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel as & When the job demands.
