Account Manager - Growth Customer Business 

Role Purpose

SAS is recruiting an Account Manager for the UK & IRL market. Experience in managing client relationships with existing clients AND selling software solutions preferably Analytics and Data Management is required. We are looking for applicants with fluency in English with strategic selling techniques and advanced knowledge of software preferably in the analytical space. Combined with this, great communication and customer relationship management skills. We need strong problem solvers with a determination to be the best they can. We need sales people with excellent listening skills & the ability to ask the right questions. Organisation, time management and ability to engage with many accounts on a regular basis is key.

Key Accountabilities

As Account Manager, Your Primary Accountabilities & Responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage the SAS relationship with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing retention of existing financial investments

  • Generate incremental revenue through prospecting, cold calling, up selling and cross selling within a territory or account

  • Develop a strategic territory and account plans

  • Implement all aspects of territory and account management revenue targets

  • Identify accounts with “high close” potential, qualify opportunities & accurately forecast business & revenue

  • Keep abreast of terminologies, basic software applications, operating systems and hardware requirements

  • Develop an understanding of company pricing, policies and licensing procedures

  • Commercially driven, strong business acumen

  • Perform other duties, as assigned 



Experience

  • 3+ years in field sales or account management with deal closure experience within software or a related industry

Location

Prefer London or Marlow based. Requires 30% of time in face to face discussions with customers.
