The Role

You will be a platform solution architect and will have a high-tech background with an application focus, you will be required to develop skills in using APM (Application Performance Monitoring) technologies to isolate and analyse application or network performance problems. This would inadvertently require you to interact with a wide variety of roles both business and IT with the ability to communicate clearly, credibly, and confidently.

 

Your Role Will involve :

• Capturing requirements to help integration of APM into SITA ATS product set
• Proposing architectural blueprints to help adoption of APM use with SITA ATS product set.
• Assist the technical delivery of APM and NPMD (Network Performance and Monitoring Diagnostics) projects
• Assisting implementation planning and prioritisation of technical requirements
• Training & Enablement: Provide technical and procedural training to internal and customer users. Assist adoption of APM tools and disciplines by providing support and coaching.
• Technical Project Management: Interfacing with APM service delivery manager, leading design and complex implementation activities.
• Technical Product management: Supporting development of case studies and providing feedback for product definition.
• Working closely with customers, partners and colleagues as trusted advisor in APM/NPMD.
• Driving the development and validation of SITA APM technologies as it relates to customer needs as per the SITA strategy
• Helping define and execute the SITA strategy for monitoring
• Ensuring effective monitoring of critical business applications at customer sites
• Building and enhancing dashboards, reports and alerts to meet customer requirements
• Helping customers troubleshoot, profile, and predict application performance issues
• Mentoring and training internal and external customers and partners on supporting SITA APM technologies and best practices. Assisting adoption of APM tools and disciplines by providing support and coaching.
• Assisting sales team in identifying new opportunities for product and services at customers

We Would Like you to have:

• A degree in Computer Science or IT
• Professional certification and experience delivering Dynatrace, New Relic or ELK solutions (preferred),
• Expertise in one or more of these key technologies is desirable
• Monitoring concept as data collection, data visualization
• Java, .NET
• Web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, AngularJS and etc
• Messaging such as RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, MSMQ
• Database such as MS SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, MariaDB, OracleDB
• Networking
• Virtualization and Cloud such as Azure, VMware, AWS, GCP, OpenShift and etc
• Ability to tackle complex application environments to provide customers with clear ability to transfer technical aspects into business concepts
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong passion and desire to learn new technology
• Solid presentation and writing skills and experience with creating professional reports
• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Willing to travel 20% globally
