  • Principal Accountabilities :

     

    • Responsible for implementation of GM safety management system.
    • Ensure safety of every contractor suppliers and visitors through safety management system
    • Inspections: inspect the workplace for potential hazards, identify potential hazards, assess the risks and report potential hazards.
    • Manage stationery and grocery purchase for GM MEDC
    • Manage MHE safety procedures and coordinate with MHE suppliers for maintenance
    • Development and Facilitation of all Safety Training
    • Preparation of safety SOP’s
    • Responsible for SOT’s
    • Tracking and maintenance of employee safety concern process
    • Attend monthly plant safety review board meeting
    • Proper documentation of safety related activities and record Keeping
    • Onsite Safety Reviews and Audits
    • Conducting Safety Meetings
    • Conduct drills: conduct drills, such as fire drills, to ensure equipment is properly functioning and staff are aware of what to do in an emergency.
    • Conduct investigations: respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies.
    • Ensure compliance: ensure the organization is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, conduct trainings with staff to make sure they are aware of regulations and procedures and provide guidance.
    • Processing Warranty claims(Both GWM and Wholesale dealers)

    Essential Requirements:

    • At least 2 years in a large Supply Chain /Logistics operations or 2 years in occupational safety role in international organization.
    • Graduate in any discipline.
    • Ability to confidently drive Safety Culture Sustainability by engaging all levels of organization.
    • Demonstrate S&IH leadership with effective people influencing skills.
    • Ability to identify trends and anticipate consequences to lead focused action and resolution.
    • Ability to collaborate within a cross-functional organization and leverage resources.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem solving skills.
    • System knowledge.
    • Strong supplier relationship management skills.
