Purpose of the Role:

Supporting the Logistics department, you will work as part of the Perpetual Inventory team in auditing stock and transactional accuracy.

Principal Accountabilities:

As a Perpetual Inventory Counter your main responsibilities will include.

• Execution of the Perpetual Inventory counting process.
• Carry out ad-hock stock counts as required, reporting completion and results.
• Carry out investigations into stock discrepancies, both warehouse and line-side.
• Ensure issues are captured to allow for effective communication to the relevant department to drive improvement.
• Population of the relevant KPI data as required.

• Close liaison with other disciplines within the logistics organisation, as well as other departments especially Warehouse, Quality and Zone Controller teams.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety.
• Follow standard operating procedures and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Ability to relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Detailed working understanding of Logistics and associated up and down stream processes.
• Previous experience within the manufacturing industry, especially automotive serial production will be an advantage.
• Applicants to be numerate, good communicators, IT literate with experience of using Warehousing Management Systems (SAP will be an advantage) and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to use MHE equipment
• Development of key performance indicators.
• Ability to relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation
