Quality Assurance - Food Safety Specialist

Your Role
The Quality Assurance Specialist will sustain existing food safety management system in respective warehouses in line with the Turkish legislation. Moreover, he will provide advices on QSHE matters in connection with Local and International Legislative Framework and Health and Safety Policy.
Your Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing and enforcing sustainable food safety standards, policies, and programs including HACCP, IFS, ISO 22000 etc.
• Informing the management and food safety team about changes in Critical Control Points and operational processes and apply these changes to existing system.
• Establishing and following our own internal document management system for food safety.
• Planning and performing regular hygiene controls and organizing food safety trainings to Kuehne + Nagel's staff that work in food warehouse.
• Preparing and sharing performance reports for the food safety management system with the management and customer when necessary.
• Accompanying the customer audits, inform Kuehne + Nagel management about audit dates and outcome as well as conducting internal audits.
• Support processes to identify and minimize risks related to QSHE.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Bachelor`s degree in Food or Aqua Culture Engineering, or associate degree as Food Technician is a must.
• Extensive knowledge about Food Safety related local regulations.
• Broad knowledge in ISO 22000, HACCP Standards, HACCP, ISO 9001, 45001 standards and certifications.
• Strong customer service orientation mentality and ability to manage customer relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and training skills required.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills required; preferred skills include interpersonal and conflict resolution.
• Excellent command of both Turkish and English.
