Receivable Accountant - Collector Arabic Speaker

Kuehne+Nagel Dubai is currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven person who is skilled in the field of finance.
Your Role
In this position, you will be responsible for contacting debtors and claim outstanding debts towards their creditors. You will also be responsible making sure that the money owed is attained as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities

• Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments
• Locate and contact debtors to inquire about their payment status
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and handle queries and complains
• Update account status and database on a regular basis
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and gain the trust of debtors to avoid issues
• Comply with the requirements when a legal action is unavoidable
• Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team in monthly closing process to ensure the adherence of deadlines
• Implement all QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) policies and guidelines and ensure that all business processes follow the Kuehne+Nagel systems/guidelines
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting preferably in a multinational environment
• Thorough understanding of the basics of credit and receivables accounting
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
