We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team in Qatar as a Regional Display Marketing Officer for Europe.

As the Regional Display Marketing Officer based in Doha, you will add immediate value in supporting the launch, implementation and growth of the European display marketing campaigns across the sub-channels including Affiliate Marketing, Prospecting, Remarketing and Social Media Channels.

You will assist in managing the airline's online display programme through the different channels and media available, including affiliate networks, display networks, remarketing partners and other third parties. You will be accountable for monitoring a defining multi-million sales targets, administering the allocated budget, act as the central point of contact and coordinate to ensure campaign planning and execution is aligned within the department and between department and other business units.

Key accountabilities:

  • Running major promotional campaigns for the European Display Marketing Channel and oversee overall programmatis buying strategy for Qatar Airways in Europe.
  • Guide and mentor E-com and Marketing staff on display buying strategies and help them build media plans that drive business results.
  • Have a full understanding of DV360 platform’s capabilities to apply optimizations to gain the best performance according to campaign objectives, working alongside agencies and other teams within Europe.
  • Possess strong communication and analytical skills to provide thoughtful and comprehensive campaign insights and reporting.
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to digital marketing practice.
  • Effectively manage display retargeting optimization and operational support, performance analysis and reporting for Europe.
  • Create regional monthly KPI reporting for activities.
  • Facilitating the finance processes, purchase order creation, performance monitoring and reporting, budget maintenance and invoicing/payments for the assigned channels.
  • Assisting in the design, execution and measurement of creative/usability tests in order to improve advertising performance.
  • Performing quality improvement activities across suppliers and channel.

About you

The ideal candidate needs to meet the following requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or a higher qualification combined with a solid job related experience.
  • Deep experience with display technologies including Ad servers, DSP, DMP.
  • Sound understanding of the online advertising ecosystem and ad tech stack.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work with both technical and business teams.
  • At least four years' direct experience managing display programs.
  • Basic understanding HTML, JavaScript, API and other web technologies.
  • Keen aptitude for improving campaign performance using solid test & control fundamentals, data analysis and identifying key business opportunities in the data.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
