My client, a leading MNC  into Chocolate and Gum & Candy is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to be based in Toronto Downtown.

Description

 

Reporting to the Enterprise Engineering Lead Chocolate and Gum & Candy, the Senior Manager Enterprise Engineering will play a key role within the new BU organization. The incumbent will be responsible for the activities across Chocolate technical platforms focusing on Latin American and North American regions.

 

The position will require the individual to interact with and influence key stakeholders in the respective Regions and Business Units as well as cross-regionally and drive participation in the development of global Engineering standards.

 

Primary stakeholders for this position will be the Chocolate making and packing Manufacturing sites within Latin American and North American regions, the BU’s ISC & BD leaders, the R&D community as well as the Regional Engineering community.

 

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Food Sciences Required (Master's Degree preferred)
• Minimum 10 years’ Project Engineering Management experience required
• Proven Project Management skills required
• Recognized leadership skills - approachable, passionate, influential, excellent communicator, composed, very good business acumen and strategic capabilities required
• Excellent technical expertise ranging across engineering disciplines related to chocolate required
• Exceptional learning and teaching agility required with experience in providing training and mentorship
• Experience working across multiple countries - Required
• Plant operations experience – Preferred
• English (business level) - Required
