Senior Internal Auditor ( Only for Saudi)

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Under the general direction of the Chief Internal Auditor/Finance programs and performs professional level audit work individually or as a team leader to review the goals, performance objectives, and impact of a variety of economic, financial and managerial programs in conformance with the organization policies and procedures

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

 

• Programs, direct and participates in performance auditing in the assigned area of responsibility.

• Interprets policy and procedures and applies professional accounting and auditing principles and standards to test and evaluate complete financial records and operational systems.

• Identifies and analyzes causes of uneconomic and inefficient practices, assess alternatives which might yield desired results.

• Develops recommendations for bringing program and operations into compliance with goals and objectives and writes reports document findings.

• Performs research to locate and summarize laws and ordinances or review legal summaries to determine if the program being evaluated in compliance

• Uses computer to perform statistical analysis of data.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

 

• Timeline and quality of audit reports

• Adherence to Audit Plan

• Identification of potential efficiently improvements and opportunities for adding value across the business.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

 

1. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related discipline required OR Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline required.  

 

1. Certifications

Certification as a CIA, CPA, MIA or CISA (certification may substitute for one (1) year of work experience) Certification is preferred.

 

1. Experience

 

Four (4) years of experience in performance auditing preferably in healthcare environment, in one or more of the following

 

• Financial/Operational Auditing, External Auditing

• Information systems Auditing with Bachelor’s degree OR

• Three (3) years of the above experience with the Master degree required.

• Knowledge of computer oriented accounting and auditing record keeping systems.

• Knowledge of risk assessment, fraud prevention/detection techniques.

• For Saudi national only.
