Service Chemical Engineer
Role Summary:
The Service Chemical Engineer will carry out the daily requirements and activities of water treatment application within the petrochemical and refineries. This will cover sampling, testing, preparing a service report and discussing it with plant engineers. It also include a technical discussion with plant engineer to meet the plant KPI’s and do the needed chemical adjustment. Chemical management and handling is part of the daily activity.
Essential Responsibilities:
Daily analyses and testing needed for each application
Prepare daily service reports and discuss it with end user.
Chemical management and pumps dosing adjustment.
Ability to troubleshoot technical related issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
0-2 years’ experience in water treatment application, preferred Steel Mill.
Desired Characteristics:
Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate company products/application and services to customer requirements and competitive market in the scope of responsibility.
Good technical knowledge of refining & petrochemical water treatment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
