Supply Chain Finance Analyst

We are seeking an individual who can take ownership of the finance and inventory operation in Utrecht. This is an exciting, varying and challenging opportunity in an integral part of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Standard Costing Calculation and Analysis
  • Calculation of new product standard costs as part of daily responsibilities
  • Performing ad –hoc costing analysis like Make vs Make and Make vs Buy
  • Recalculation of standard costs for all products as part of the annual process
  • Collection and preparation of all AOP assumptions for standard costing including manufacturing costs, purchasing assumptions for materials, recovery rates etc
  • Support with monthly preparation of the manufacturing reporting and tonnage reporting
  • Working closely with Financial Accounting function to ensure that all accruals and corrections are posted and that the monthly P&L results are correct
  • P&L Controlling- Understand and control the Direct Manufacturing Variance including Toller Costs, Depreciation and Production Recovery per factory/warehouses (Material Costs – Subcontracting – Production Recovery)
  • P&L Controlling of Purchase Price and Other Manufacturing Variances during the month
  • Preparation of management information report showing standard cost change per product, product group, plant, country, cost component etc. Using SAP, PFS and GPA as source for data
  • Business partnering- support to business Supply Chain, Portfolio, Finance, Marketing functions for ad hoc standard cost analysis, make vs make, make vs buy and providing explanations.


Requirements
  • English language skills
  • 2-5 years experience in a similar Supply Chain Finance role
  • Experience in a manufacturing, processing or production industry is essential
  • Excellent SAP Skills in finance, controlling, standard costing areas are essential
  • VBA experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills; Macros

Desirable
  • Business graduate
  • Financial qualification (CIMA, CMA etc)
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural international environment
  • Flexibility regarding changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize work independently
