We're looking for a creative and self motived Supply Chain Manager to join
our team in Stevenage on a 1 year fixed term contract/secondment.
Clarion Response provides repairs and maintenance services to the residents
of Clarion Housing's 125,000 homes nationwide.
Clarion Response is part of Clarion Housing Group, which also comprises the
country's largest housing association, a charitable foundation and a
property development company.

About The Role

Performing general procurement activities including pre qualification,
tender management and preparation of contracts whilst maintaining our
supplier database with an annual spend of over 20 million.

Amongst Other Duties, You'll Be Required To

• Establish and manage our dynamic purchasing system for the selection
  

and appointment of our sub contractors and suppliers

• Ensuring our database is populated with all information relating to
  

every third party supplier including commercial contractual and
pricing information and operational activities, H&S, DPA, L&D

• Monitoring operational performance by collecting relevant feedback
  

from Suppliers and our own business

• Preparing written management reports to a high standard, clearly
  

articulating the adequacy and effectiveness of the supply chain along
with any recommendations for improvement to continually drive
performance and business results

About You

We're looking for a candidate with a solid track record of working in
procurement, purchasing and supplier negotiation gained within the
construction sector.
If you're an influential leader with excellent research, analytical and
organisational skills who is capable of implementing change and service

The work will predominantly be based in Stevenage but could involve some
travel around England to meet our staff or suppliers in the field of our
operations. This could include occasional evening and weekend meetings and
