Functional Responsibilities

• Manage the technical building planning & optimization process for all electro mechanical (E&M ) systems to achieve the highest customer satisfaction within planned budget & cost.
• Undertake the Initiatiations of all E&M systems design review for Mobily technical building premises and ensure the design meet the appropriate operational standards and requirements while evolving with industry’s norms and best practices.
• Conduct the assessment exercise for the suitability and final selection of a proposed design for electro mechanical systems based on Mobily’s project technical requirements.
• Interpret plans/designs and provide input to adherence to MOBILY’s standards of technical requirements
• Apply the latest national & international trends & technology systems in Mobily’s technical building & propose new solutions & technologies to enhance data center systems effecinicy.
• Consult with architects, engineers and other technical workers to make sure that design intentions are met.
• Provide new systems and technology to enhance the data centre effciency.
• Maintain technical design criteria & manuals for the data centre building, topology and specs for all data centres, pop-buildings & any technical building/site.
• Prepare the progress reports related to various sites activities to inform Management of projects performance against plans and budget.
• Manage the design phase packages of E&M systems of Mobily technical buildings (data centers, POP, telecom and offices) in addition to the selection of E&M materials and
• Handle the Pre-qualification of the contractors , supplier materials, equipment and solutions.
• Provide technical soultion & support to end users by reviewing material selection, and ensuring the equipment installation as per Mobily standard).
• Provide the Technical advisory to all operational sites by assisting and monitoring the performance of data centre Systems and identify solutions to E&M issues.
• Perform systems qualification testing (SQT) of Electrical equipment in the supplier factory & labs and provide the assessment report / advice.
• Manage the testing & commissioning of E&M systems for all ongoing projects, Conduct quantity surveying & review final account of E&M systems.
• Audit all Mobily technical sites to evaluate the quality of installed materials & equipment. and prepare leson learned to be used as a guidelines for the new projects.
  

Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision.
