We are looking to hire a Customer Service Coordinator to:
Responsibilities
Understands and ensures adherence to Panalpina Quality Policies, Standards and Guidelines (according to ISO 9’001, ISO 14’001 and ISO 18’001 certification) and ensures compliance to processes and procedures set in Panalpina IMS. Ensures strict adherence to Panalpina Code of Conduct. Adherence to client’s SOP and ensures to operate Airfreight & Oceanfreight shipments within agreed KPIs. Hold the ownership of files GP and guiding the documents processing team for required actions on files. Ensure Daily files opening through SCP report and sending pre-alerts to the customs broker, Monitoring the clearance daily report and ensuring 100 % report accuracy. Interacting with airlines, shipping lines and broker for DO collection / missing cargos. Creating client invoices and submitting to the clients within PA KPIs, Ensure proper job costing matching with shipping run, Give clear file handling instructions to documents processing team; provide supporting approvals and agreements required. Maintain shipments movement’s tracking and volumes, KPI’s reports and provide required visibilities to the clients. Registering operations incidents on IHT PA application and holding all involved parties involved responsible of any missing or damage cargos and reporting full details to claim manager. Daily update general Airfreight and/or Oceanfreight shipments on shipment visibility within KPIs, Update shipping, clearance and delivery Status to clients. Coordinate with Panalpina controlling stations to provide clarification, missing information, permits, docs when required provides to broker for the clearance. Ensures customer satisfaction by providing timely, friendly and excellent Customer Service. Follow up with customer’s no longer utilizing PA services and follow for quotations requests. Any other Tasks assigned by the direct manager or department head. Assist in operational activities within the BU
Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent Working experience (minimum 5 years) Industry experience (minimum 3 year experience in freight forwarding)

Languages
Fluency in English in Mandatory (Written & Spoken) Good Knowledge of Arabic Language is an advantage

Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint® and others including Microasoft Exchange) Profound knowledge of International cargo movements, incoterms & local clearance process Good knowledge of SAP® systems is an added advantage
