About the Role

Our focus this year is maturing our product and process, and a huge part of that includes growing and building the test team - that's where you come in!

We're looking for a Test Engineer who loves working on a wide range of projects. Your role will be central to maintaining the execution of our current testing efforts with the highest efficiency while strategically positioning our test processes and tools towards the implementation of Continuous Testing.

Key responsibilities

·Collaborate closely with both software and test engineers

·Develop strategic plans and improve quality practices across functional and non-functional testing

·Define and administer standard testing architecture methodologies, processes and tools across all engagements

·Create test estimates and define/build reusable testing assets for large/complex projects

·Define and support the implementation of our strategic direction for Continuous Testing and test automation frameworks

 

Jobs specifications & Qualifications 

·BSc (2:1) or higher in STEM-related discipline

·Relevant professional qualifications (such as International Software Testing Qualifications Board – BCS ISTQB®)

·Ideally 2+ years plus experience as a Test Engineer

·Experience in setting up a test framework from scratch and improving existing frameworks to be more efficient and effective

·Experience in defining and implementing test processes in the organisation across multiple projects

·Experience of identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests and to give guidance on the corresponding resources requirements for the test effort

·Experience of leading multiple release cycles

·Experience of the full software project lifecycle (waterfall, agile, DevOps) and a technical appreciation of IT systems and solutions
