Looking for a senior AWS Engineer / Developer to join one of the trendsetting data solution companies in the Netherlands focusing their solutions on logistics and e-commerce (as a company they are actually a self-steering component of one of the big logistic players in the country). The company delivers the true monetization of data: data driven applications/API’s that can help companies provide in additional services, extra sales or cross-selling to consumers. They provide the solutions/tools to the customers through a SaaS model, running them on their own platforms.

 

The current platforms are running fully on Amazon, that’s where this position comes in. The platform is in need of somebody to take ownership for all AWS matters and take the technical lead on upcoming projects. Connecting the data lake with commercial sources, industrializing new solutions by actually implementing the right set-up and automation within AWS, improving database connections, working on new API’s, etc.

Biggest upcoming project for next year will be transitioning the environment to a serverless set-up (Lambda) - the floor is yours.

 

We are looking for an AWS engineer with:

 

• At least 3 year of hands-on experience working with AWS;
• Experience with (or deep theoretical knowledge) on serverless set-up;
• Strong Python skills;
• Self-starting and positive attitude;
• Communication skills in both Dutch and English.

 

Next to taking the lead on AWS, we are looking for somebody willing to share his knowledge within the team, and really get it to the next level. Growth opportunities are towards architect or full lead position, so big rewards are for grabs.
