About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for the organisation and coordination of drivers, and fleet to plan, schedule and allocate workloads to meet our customers needs.
Note, that this is a shared role within a team covering a 24/7 work environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, scheduling and monitoring the loading and unloading of freight
- Allocation of drivers, prime movers and trailers to loads
- Managing daily operations. (Cooperating with operations staff, as well as managing drivers to achieve outcomes)
- Liaising with customers regarding loading and unloading
- Processing and data entry of paperwork
- Work with drivers on their daily logbook hours to manage return loads
- Preparation and management of customer freight updates
- Management of fleet maintenance requests with in-house Maintenance team.
- Participate in load forecasting, measurement and "Delivery in Full, on Time" reporting.

You are self-motivated and work well in a dynamic team, while enjoying the challenges of a fast-paced, and strongly customer-focussed environment. You have the ability to think and act quickly. You are able to jump between tasks and change focus with ease.
