About the role
This position is responsible for Provide a self-managed cleansing service to the City to ensure thet the functions meet agreed Cleansing Program standards and deadlines and that the work is carried out within cost estimates and budget and in order to promote Parramatta as a clean City and a leading tourist attraction.
On a daily basis you will need to;
- Plan and Organise resourses to ensure that the work undertaken is maximised.
- Undertake a range of cleansing activties for a designated area of Council including footpaths, roadways, gutters, lanes, and buildings in a clean tidy and healthy condition to ensure each precincy is serviced in a safe and clean manner in accordance with Council's Cleansing Program
- Continually review and provide feedback on improvements in work practices and methods to ensure they are best for the task allocated
About the person
The successful candidate should have previous experience. It would be preferred but not essential for applicants to have.
- Proven customer service skills
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communications
- Sound capacity to adapt to changing priorities
- Previous Cleaning Roll
- C Class Licence
- Blue/Yellow Traffic Control
