    The GPU Virtualization team works directly with Cloud Service Providers on projects such as Google Stadia, AWS AppStream and Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines to unleash the power of the latest graphics processors in the cloud. We develop kernel driver software for professional, server-grade GPUs, such as AMD Radeon Pro V340, allowing a single GPU to be shared by up to 16 Virtual Machines.

    Job Description
    • Work with internationally renowned cloud providers to enable GPU virtualization
    • Work with cross functional teams to further increase the solution lead between AMD and the competition
    • Develop AMD’s GPU virtualization solution spanning Windows GFX software to Linux GFX software to a variety of Hypervisors (including KVM, Hyper, VMware, etc.)


    Requirements
    • The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering)
    • Architecture experience with designing complex software systems and architectures.
    • Expert knowledge with operating system development, low-level device driver or embedded driver development
    • Knowledge of GPU and CPU architectures
    • Years of industry experience with low level software development in C/C++
    • Experience developing and debugging kernel mode device driver software under Linux and Windows
    • Strong written & verbal communication skills
