Department Overview

The Accounting and Finance Division supports the company's financial performance by developing innovative ways to save time and money, as well as providing timely and accurate financial reports for strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for assisting upper level staff with the preparation and the detailed analysis of complex and professional accounting work. Special projects can include administrative expense reporting analysis, expense report analysis, cost allocation projects, or specialized accounting. These requests are initiated from associates, managers, and officers.

Summary Of Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of two years of accounting or auditing experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience using MS Excel
  • Proven ability to determine the accuracy of data and the proper accounting procedures to be used within corporate policies and procedures and government regulations
  • Proven ability to accomplish major projects and goals with some supervision
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines under pressure
  • Experience in a position interpreting and communicating information, orally and in writing
  • Proven knowledge of assigned cost accounting functions
  • Ability to interact with associates throughout the corporation including all levels of management
  • Professionalism in dealing with the cost accounting staff, other departments and external contacts
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Candidate is desired
  • Experience performing journal entries and account reconciliations is a plus
  • Experience with cost accounting & analytics preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP) experience preferred
