Modis in Nashville is currently working with a client on a new job located in the South Nashville area to identify an energetic, ambitious and success-driven Senior Superintendent.

 

Responsibilities for the Senior Superintendent job are, but not limited to the day-to-day supervision of field workforce, inspection of processes and operations of contractors to ensure compliance efforts, development of site logistic plans, coordination with inspection and testing efforts, project meeting supervision and attendance, schedule management, daily report preparation, communication of health and safety management procedures/policies and overall ensuring and demonstrating the assurance of an injury free environment.

 

For consideration, you must have the following skills:

 

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction and commercial development
• Minimum 6 years of experience in specification drawing, terms & conditions, project contracts, purchase orders and subcontracts
• Experience with high rise development project lifecycle
• Experience managing small to large teams across multiple sites
• Experience with accounting, math and troubleshooting finances
• Experience working with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Certified in OSHA, CPR and First Aid

The following skills are not required, but will make you stand apart:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar area of focus
