What We’re Looking For…

A great opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technician within our Engineering Team at our Milton Keynes site.

This role requires an experienced time-served and fully competent multi skilled Engineer. As a member of our engineering team you will help ensure optimum engineering solutions are delivered to support our ambitious manufacturing objectives. You will ensure that planned maintenance (PPM) activities are carried out in a proactive manner, maximising machinery reliability/availability and contributing to the highest levels of production efficiency / OEE within a LEAN operational environment. You will be required to carry out repair works, conduct root cause problem solving activities and recommend/implement improvements where necessary. Additionally, you will also be required to analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime data with a view to identifying areas for performance improvement working both on your own initiative and part of a wider team.

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to HNC level in a Mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline with significant engineering experience of maintenance systems within a complex high speed production unit, FMCG or food manufacturing environment. Experience of lean manufacturing would be advantageous. You will have excellent IT and communication skills in addition to having a flexible attitude to work as you may be required to work additional hours.
