You’ll apply adult learning theory and instructional design techniques to critically assess, design, develop, deploy, and evaluate training solutions and performance support, working with L&D consultants, program managers, other instructional designers, facilitators, and people leaders from various functional areas.

This role will support operations excellence initiatives focusing on speed and quality to drive value for our internal and external customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess, design and develop learner centric instructional materials including instructor led & e-learning training modules, manuals, teaching aids, training activities, role play scenarios, facilitator guides, self-paced study and multimedia solutions for a blended learning environment
  • Develop learning programs across a variety of mediums (print self-study, classroom, and virtual classroom)
  • Conduct structured needs assessments and provide detailed recommendations to Learning and Development Manager, project owners
  • Design programs using a systematic instructional design process with an outcome-based methodology
  • Evaluate training programs
  • Revise and update existing training materials as required
  • Continuously review all training programs to ensure they meet the business needs.
  • Propose plans to reduce classroom time, increase self-study and online learning with proven ROI
  • Conduct and/or coordinate train the trainer sessions as necessary to support training initiatives
  • Develop training measurement standards and ensure process consistency
  • Ensure assessment requirements and standards for all training programs are met
  • Analyze learning needs and requirements for a variety of education initiatives, including strategic capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain effective technical and non-technical training solutions based on learning requirements, business and technology changes, and adult learning principles.
  • Provide leadership and consulting to create and implement proactive learning solutions and recommendations regarding complex situations.
  • Work with L&D team members and leaders, the business, and subject matter experts to develop training objectives that meet specific learning needs.
  • Support the deployment of business processes through performance support and/or training and align existing training content with the new processes.
  • Identify and integrate effective and innovative learning delivery practices into training, including experiential, social and peer learning, and game-based learning.
  • Assist in project management of training initiatives and change management.
  • Assert self, influence, and demonstrate organizational savvy—comfortable having tough conversations.
  • Model self-improvement practices by staying current on learning industry trends and relevant business topics.
