Overview

Hi! We’re Colour. We’re an ad agency. But we don’t feel like an agency. Originally formed in Halifax, we still have that East Coast vibe at a Toronto pace.

 

Some say we’re strategic. Some say we’re creative. Some say we’re just really fun. (We say we’re all of the above.)

 

We do big campaigns, small campaigns, social media, TV, experiential, brand-building… and cannabis. That’s right, we’ve worked in the cannabis category for 3+ years now and have a variety of cannabis clients.

 

We're currently looking for a Junior Designer to help support our small but mighty creative team. You'd be reporting directly to our Associate Creative Director and could work remotely if need be. Tasks would include producing social content, web layouts, campaign mock-ups, resizing display ads. Although this work is more production-focused, if you were a good fit and had the drive to do more conceptual work, we'd be more than open to supporting that!

As Junior Designer you WILL:

• Take the lead from our in-house creative team and execute deliverable per their specifications
• Ensure deliverables are high quality and on time
• Work on multiple projects with varying turnaround times
• Maintain organized, clean files and upload them to our shared server in a timely manner
• Update and submit timesheets on a daily basis

About YOU:

• 1-2 years of design experience, preferably at an agency
• An online portfolio
• A keen eye for detail
• A good working understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Storyboarding experience is a plus

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Our main offices are located in Halifax and Toronto with a start-up office in NYC. Our clients are based across North America and even in the Caribbean. This role is based in Toronto and can be remote for the right candidate. Hours will vary.

 

COMPENSATION
