The role of a Product Sourcing Manager is broken down into three dimensions: products, sourcing, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
The Product Sourcing Manager will be responsible for researching markets across Turkey & Middle East to source and develop new products, ensuring customer requirements and brief from Range Offer team are met. within your role you will identify direct factory / vendor sources of supply, develop and implement vendor-specific strategies, whilst monitoring and measuring their performance.
You will have experience of managing vendor performance, engaging and maintaining optimum vendor portfolio to maximize volume leverage while mitigating risk.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have extensive negotiation experience within a commercial environment able to manage the end to end process through to vendor onboarding. You will be able to identify opportunities for component sourcing and manage the 'design to cost' process. You must have an understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures for all of the applicable category areas.
There will be around 30% travel within this position, you will be proficient in English, in the field and related to international business (written and spoken).
