Human Resource Specialist
The installation specialist manages projects sites with the objective of:
- Supervising Site activities during project execution,
- Ensuring Project productivity, quality and EHS fulfilment.
- Ensuring business success and satisfaction of the customer,
- Ensuring professional site stakeholder management and
- Ensuring timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.
· Project Initiation Management
- Actively involved in the sales / project initiation phase, examining the technical feasibility and transferability into a bid or project proposal,
- Ensures that all site risks are identified and pursued,
- Examines the site preparation proposal costing in terms of financial efficiency,
- Ensures that all planning elements (e.g. system layout, site preparation scope of work ) are included in the project initiation phase,
· Customer Management
- During site preparation, actively gathers information on the customer site and report them to the Project Manager,
- During site preparation, manages customer expectations during site preparation and concludes the project to the satisfaction of the customer,
- Throughout project life cycle, identifies / creates additional opportunities out of the ongoing projects.
· Risk / Opportunity Management
- Throughout project life cycle, identifies and report all risk factors,
- Implements procedure for solving site issues and problems (identification, analysis, actions and controlling) with all necessary internal and external partners
- Identifies and report non-conformance costs,
- Ensures site risks monitoring,
· Contract Change and Claim Management
- Participates with the project team in the identification of changes and claims,
- At an early stage, informs Project Manager of deviations,
· Vendors Management
- Involved in Selecting vendors according to defined criteria,
- Monitors the performance of the vendors, conducts timely escalation (in the event of qualitative shortfalls and problems in cooperation) and, where there are any discrepancies, initiates timely suitable action,
· Financial Management
- Manages the project site within the defined financial targets (budget, target costing, target profit),
· Project Site Planning, Execution, Controlling and Closure
- Handles site planning elements (Drawings & scope of work) and milestone work results in close coordination with the Project Manager,
- Monitors continuously the project site status, taking into account early identification and reporting of discrepancies,
- Defines procedures and requirements concerning site quality management (audits, test seals, acceptance checks) according to valid Quality Management regulations and standards
- Holds regular site status meetings and organizes acceptance of milestone work results,
- Manages acceptance of delivery units and services, performing quality controls,
- Documents all site work results according to the valid standards,
- Organizes acceptance tests and final project handover to contract vendor(s).
· Leadership & Communication
- Ensures efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders,
- Ensures targeted and full communication within the project team,
· Knowledge Management
- Seeks and actively utilizes sources of information, knowledge and experience,
- Analyzes information, knowledge and experience, and makes project learnings available,
- Seizes opportunities to learn from others and to exchange experience.
- Complete all planned trainings within the defined deadlines.
· Business Integrity
- Adheres to the GE Business Conduct Guidelines, e.g. (EHS (environment, health and safety)),
- Forwards all relevant information to the project manager, team members and partners,
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year experience, +3 years preferred in Engineering, Service, Manufacturing or related operations,
· Knowledge and interrelation of the project environment with e.g. context, strategy, targets, processes, rules, decision-makers and stakeholders, platforms, IT systems and tools,
· Knows the customer market and its competitors, as well as the customer strategies, business processes and decision makers,
· Knowledge of intercultural communication and collaboration,
· Overview of local law of countries directly affected by the project (i.e. countries of: customer, suppliers, and partners)
· PM methods concerning efficient project organization including roles and responsibilities, duties and collaboration (also with customers and partners)
· Knowledge of project management tools
· Knowledge of technologies according to scope of project to understand technical implications
· Fluent in English.
· Good Knowledge of AutoCAD usage.
