Overview

NTT DATA currently seeks a Sales Executive to partner with strategic account managers and grow the business. The ideal candidate NTT DATA is seeking will have IT sales or other comparable experience, and strong relationships in the Financial Services industry. Additionally, understanding of Information Technology and services in the infrastructure, applications, or business process domains is a plus. The primary role of this sales position is to generate, qualify, and close new business for the company. You will join a select group of colleagues in an intensive four-week training program, to learn the NTT DATA Services way to sell, followed by an initial deployment to one of our existing accounts.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plans facilitate and conduct sales process of managed or complex, high-value, solutions and/or services with a primary focus on shorter-term project or term-based outsourcing services to achieve in-year revenue and margin objectives.
  • Applies consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions for each opportunity.
  • Develops and maintains effective customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to understand the customer's requirements, match them with the organization's solutions, and close the deal.
  • Manages a group of accounts to ensure opportunities are identified and closed.
  • Engages other "specialist" sellers within the organization to assist with opportunity advancement and closure as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with delivery and solution teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution.

Key Skills
  • Prior IT Services Sales or comparable industry/domain experience
  • Ability to develop a pipeline of new business contacts, opportunities and assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions
  • Requires agility to interface and influence customer stakeholders at the Director level and above
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation skills with the confidence to address small and large audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
