Job Description EDUCATION, LEISURE AND HOUSING Sandy Junior High School Teacher of English and Drama 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) Permanent This is an exciting and rewarding position in a small, friendly island community school (ages 3 to 16, roll of 61 pupils). It requires an enthusiastic, flexible, independent person who would enjoy being a part of the dynamic island community of Sanday. You will be able to build up excellent relationships with both pupils and staff, in a school and community where the work of the school is valued. Ideally, you will be able to teach both English and Drama to National 5 level. This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children. You must be registered, or in the process of registering, with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. Salary will be based on the SNCT Salary Tables plus an Outer Islands Allowance.
