Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Administrative Coordinator supports the Edmonton Rental Operations team with various administrative activities, including coordinating rental bookings, receiving, packaging, invoicing, checking and maintaining inventory, placing orders and general office management. This is a 12 to 18 month contract position.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensure accurate entry, tracking, and receiving of internal sales orders to the Edmonton Rental Center utilizing SAP
  • Provide accurate and timely quoting of rental equipment
  • Resolve all order related issues
  • Act as first point of contact for the Edmonton Rental Operations team
  • Manage Rental Inventory
  • Manage all logistics related to rental shipping and receiving
  • Perform general office management duties

Your Qualifications

Education:

  • BA in business or technical related discipline from an accredited university or the equivalent in education, training and experience.

Related Experience:

  • Five (5) plus years of experience in fast paced operations, administrative or dispatch roles working with technical products and services required.
  • Experience with checking stock and placing orders.
  • Experience with adminstrative activities, invoicing, account payments and receiving knowledge.
  • Familiarity with rental businesses, or knowledge of portable gas detection would be an asset.

Special Competencies/Certifications:

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, responsive and effective at making quick decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and good at multitasking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment; working in front of a computer terminal and on the telephone.
  • Some offsite work and customer facing meetings may occasionally be required.
