Category Manager

 

Job Description:

 

Set up and select goods categories according to the department's strategy and planning;

Operate category business by using the model of Category Management;

Negotiate with suppliers; Control of core business, such as contract, goods, cost, price, promotion and etc.

Have versatile abilities of BD, purchasing, operation and sales;

Manage sales, gross profit, inventory turnover and other core indicators;

Manage the promotional resources needed for all events, and organize category marketing activities together with marketing team;

Closely communicate and cooperate with other teams and BUs such as front-end operation, warehouse, distribution, supply chain, and marketing to ensure efficient operation;

Drive the rapid growth of category business performance while maintaining the healthy replacement of goods.

 

Key Qualification and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree or above, 5 years' experience in FMCG category related job;

Familiar with and have practical experience in related categories;

Experience in both traditional and e-commerce supermarkets is preferred;

Know how to manage FMCG related categories, brand and supplier control;

Very good at negotiating with suppliers and managing business, as well as having rich local resources;

Sensitive to FMCG market, know how to achieve sales growth and profit control;

Familiar with supply chain and inventory control, know how to compete, promote and pricing

Good at communication, collaboration, as well as having internet spirit and can work with high efficiency and high quality;

Professional, dedicated, positive, enthusiastic, continuous learning and making breakthroughs, good at solving problems;

Except for mother tongue, you should have good communication skills in English.

For overseas positions, local people who know local customers well and have local networks and resources are needed.
