Our client are a global department store corporation with a number of well-known brands under their name. Their UK divisions are some of the most popular stores in the country within the fashion and home sectors. With a busy internal creative studio, they are responsible for the design and production of almost all their own advertising and marketing materials and work closely with one of the largest global agencies for the work not produced in-house.

Role Description

Our client are looking for a natural leader to join their in-house creative team as a hands on Design Manger, working closely with the rest of the creative team to produce both print and digital material to the highest possible quality. You will utilise insights and elements of creative from their international agency partners to produce innovative and engaging campaign materials. You will play a key role in the creative and art direction processes, comfortable concepting big ideas and executing through multiple channels.

As well as your hands on creative responsibilities, you will have a small reporting line and play a vital role in the development of junior members of the team. As a Senior member of the team, you will lead by example, showcasing the best of your creative and leadership abilities.

Skills & Experience

Our client are in need of a top creative with excellent hands on design skills and proven management and leadership qualities. You will have an excellent knowledge of the fashion and retail space having previously worked in a similar environment.

Other skills include:

Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS

Previous leadership experience

Prior experience working in a fashion/retail environment

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
