ABOUT THE JOB:

Haykal Media works in content creation and consultancy. We publish the Middle East’s editions of Harvard Business Review, MIT Technology Review, and Popular Science, along with Man Hom, the largest people and company database in Arabic. Our company provides consultancies in content creation to various entities across the Middle East.

Our top talents, aided with top technology, works daily on improving Arabic content online and offline.

Looking for an English speaking PR Editor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in UAE. Experience writing for government accounts is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Writing, rewriting, editing and proofreading press release content
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, style and tone)
• Research, verifying information and news details
• Ensuring that stories are the right length and correctly placed on paragraphs
• Making sure that the content is accurate by further research or reaching out to the client for clarification

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven work experience in the UAE as a press release editor, with a minimum of 3 years experience; government accounts is a plus
• Native fluency in English language: written and verbal communication. 
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Portfolio of published articles
• Time-management skills.
