ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend to telephone calls for IT support and log all issues and requests.
- Troubleshoot issues and support end users of PCs, laptops and printers with hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot issues and support end users of PCs, laptops and printers with hardware and software issues.
- Provide assistance both at the end users’ desks and via the telephone.
- Log resolutions against requests for assistance.
- Configure new units for all PCs and laptops and log the asset numbers in the central record.
- Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in IT/Computer Science, MCSE
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Experience in technical applications
- Experience in providing assistance over the telephone
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of advanced Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of printer operations
- Knowledge of SAP applications
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Technical ability
- Detail oriented
- Excellent customer service ability
- Excellent communications skills, particularly in guiding users over the phone
- Microsoft Office applications
