NDT Assistant - Canada

Streamline Inspection Ltd. is currently seeking certified NDT Assistants for our Calgary, Red Deer and Fort Saskatchewan locations to collaborate with our certified NDT Technicians travelling to and from sites to perform inspections throughout Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and utilize nondestructive test equipment.
• Assist NDT Technicians while conducting testing to determine if it meets accepted
• specifications of codes and standards.
• Assist NDT Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist NDT Technicians in performing any NDT procedures and other operations.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Must have NDT foundations certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Must have CEDO certification
• Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and WHMIS Certifications
• Any other NDT certifications would be considered an asset
• Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
• Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Must live in Fort Saskatchewan or surrounding area
• Willingness to travel with ability to work long hours on the road
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
