The mandate of the Corporate Security group (CS) is to protect BMOFG people, assets and information and provide subject matter expertise and oversight as it relates to criminal risk. The Physical Security Risk and Services team is accountable for leading the oversight and strategic direction of Corporate Securitys response and governance to Physical Security Risk (Property and People Protection) in all jurisdictions in which BMOFG operates. This role is responsible for performing operating procedures to support the Physical Security and Security Management people and property protection programs. Through the effective execution of this role, the impact of criminal risk on the customer will be minimized.

This role is responsible for performing operating procedures to support the Physical Security and Security Management people and property protection programs. Through the effective execution of this role, the impact of criminal risk on the customer will be minimized.
Key Accountabilities
- This role is responsible to complete tasks associated with Physical Security People and Protection Programs which include system administration services for Security Equipment such as Pass Administration, Intake from Internal/External Customers, and retrieving data to support Criminal Investigations.
- Improve operational methods and workflows by identifying, recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate openly and regularly about business issues
- Partner with law enforcement, physical security vendors and other financial institutions to gather and share intelligence
- Establish strong relationships with internal business groups by providing advice and counsel where appropriate
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement of business processes, procedures and tools by providing input and recommendations to the CS Leadership team
- Demonstrate behaviours that are consistent with Our Way model and aligned with BMO values.
- Escalate all problems/issues with Security equipment and Systems to their Manager.
- Ensure all Security equipment and Systems are operating in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for the Administration and validation of all system access reports/lists.
- Responsible to monitor access to BMOFG premises.
- Responsible to understand, follow and administrate their Standard Operating Procedures
- Be fully conversant with Emergency Procedures and support Management in their communication and implementation. Responsible to identify gaps and escalate as needed.
