Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Cloud Consultant is responsible for strategic marketing consulting, configuration of marketing automation technologies, and creation and presentation of deliverables for clients. This may include current-state audits and analysis, marketing strategy, best practices, visioning and recommendations for marketing programs, and implementation of marketing automation technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consulting and implementation of marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email, SMS, social, web, advertising, analytics, etc.) and Pardot
- Bring strategic and tactical Marketing perspectives to Magnet 360 clients
- Demonstrate an understanding of Marketing strategic planning and best practices
- Participate in team collaboration to understand project requirements and translate those requirements into clear and comprehensive user stories
- Consult on intricacies of Sales and Marketing alignment
- Understand customer data and how data can affect digital marketing objectives
- Possess ability to lead client discussions, facilitate marketing discovery and marketing projects, tool implementations and trainings
- Help to ensure project(s) achieve their intended marketing results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results
- Create deliverables that meet client needs and present deliverables to clients
- Improvement to and maintenance of Marketing Consulting Services processes and templates
ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Strong consulting/professional services experience
- Strong Salesforce/marketing automation experience
- Drive soft-sales (up-selling opportunities) or articulate these opportunities to the appropriate channels
- Professional Services consulting with emphasis on marketing and business processes, organizational change management, training and user adoption.
- Demonstrate understanding of how various issues effect the overall outcome of projects
- Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal team while consistently deliver high-quality services to clients
- Collaborate with other Magnet 360 staff and leadership to lead projects by tracking, guiding and reporting project statuses to client and internal delivery and management teams
- Consistently create client deliverables that are professional and concise, utilizing top trends
- Stay up to date on technology and participate in Magnet 360 marketing thought leadership
- Ability to prioritize and work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentor other members of the marketing consulting team
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially prioritization and management of flexible scope
- Ability to travel required
