Training Specialist

The Training Specialists are part of a team that is responsible for codification and training of Seeds of Peace dialogue, facilitation, and broader leadership development program delivery to ensure quality and consistency of our global programming. The training specialists work will be focused on developing, codifying, and implementing the pedagogy of Seeds of Peace dialogue and facilitation as well as other broader methods in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution or ADR. Ideal candidates for this position are strong writers and experienced facilitators who can master material quickly and are interested in global dialogue work.

Position Responsibilities
  • Codification of Dialogue definition, principles, and goals (multi-lingual)
  • Creation of Seeds of Peace dialogue curriculum for Camp and Local programming (multi-lingual)
  • Creation of trainings to train staff, consultants, and Seeds in Seeds of Peace dialogue pedagogy
  • Design of facilitation curriculum and training
  • Design Curriculum for advanced leadership trainings
  • Design curriculum for revenue generating programming
  • Lead trainings and or implementation of programming for external clients or partners
  • Write and revise program manuals
  • Oversight of facilitation courses: Jerusalem, US, and Remote
  • Oversight of adult learning courses (inclusive of Parents & Educator programming)

Essential Skills And Experience
  • Experienced Facilitator: You have an extensive background and experience as a facilitator and trainer in diverse environments working across lines of conflict and difference
  • Strong Curriculum Developer: You have curriculum development experience and ability to develop processes that engage a variety of stakeholders in developing training curricula as well as curricula for the implementation of background
  • Customer Experience: You have E=experience working in consultancy roles for clients on projects with clear outcomes, process, and deadlines
  • Skilled communicator: You are able to clearly and coherently organize and communicate ideas and processes to a variety of audiences, including cross-culturally. You are sensitive to the nuances of different audiences and adapt your messaging appropriately, both in writing and in person.
  • Highly organized: You can keep a clear head and stay on top of your responsibilities, while managing multiple tasks and moving parts. You know how to prioritize and you’re skilled at creating and using systems that help you and others keep track of deadlines and manage time efficiently.
