Airport Regulation Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

Provide analysis to support the development of easyJet’s positions on airport charges proposals across Europe. The individual will support on airport charges consultations across Europe in collaboration with internal teams.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Contributing to easyJet’s work in processes for establishing airport charges and providing support for promoting the optimal structure of charges at airports across Europe.

This will include:

 

  • Analysing charges proposals, airport financial data and investment plans

  • Working on financial models of regulated airports with Ops Finance team

  • Providing support for airport charges consultation meetings and for drafting responses to regulatory consultations

  • Maintaining key airport cost databases and benchmarking data

  • Assessing government policy and national regulatory frameworks and the implications for charges

  • Providing support for meetings with regulators and government on policy developments which affect airport charges

  • Coordinating with relevant teams across the business, in particular Country and Airports Teams in order to achieve easyJet’s objectives at specific regulated airports

 

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Understanding of company accounts

  • Ability to develop and work with complex financial models

  • Knowledge of at least one other European language (preferably Italian, Dutch and/or German)

  • Strong written skills

  • Previous experience working across an organisation in cross-functional teams

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK:

This full-time role will be based in Luton, and will be 40 hours per week.
