About The Role

We are currently looking for Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers for our Stansted Airport depot. The working pattern for this position will be Monday to Friday.

You will be paid weekly with a guaranteed 48 hours per week contract, hourly rate is £13.50 per hour plus a graded bonus of up to £1,300 per quarter after 3 months service. You'll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus Bank holidays off.

Critical Purpose Of Role

• Work as part of a two-person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
  
• Ensure fleet compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and continuously improved
  
• Adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations

Main Responsibilities

• Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities
  
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace
  
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team
  
• Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit
  
• Take full responsibility of operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner
  
• Ensure that Van Delivery Porters proactively makes customer phone calls with ETA’s, & keeps records of deliveries
  
• Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free

About You

Mandatory:

• Hold a valid C license with no more than 6 penalty points
  
• Holds an up to date Driver CPC Qualification with a minimum of 3 CPC courses in date
• Holds an up to date Digital Tachograph Card
• Must have 14-21 hours of DCPC if card is due to expire in 2022
  

Desired

• Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
  
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
